On 29 January, a delegation of Canadian business representatives visited China Coal Group for an inspection and exchange. Building upon existing cooperation, both parties reached new procurement agreements and successfully signed contracts, marking fresh progress in the Group's deepening engagement with the North American market and strengthening Sino-Canadian economic and trade collaboration. Mr Li Zhenbo, General Manager of the Group's Information Technology Division and concurrently General Manager of Zhong Yun Intelligent Machinery (Yantai) Corp.,LTD, along with Deputy General Manager Zhang Hang, hosted the delegation throughout the visit and jointly witnessed the enhanced cooperation.
Business delegates conducted on-site visits to the smart manufacturing achievements exhibition hall, digital workshops, and the unmanned aerial vehicle and intelligent robotics exhibition hall, focusing their inspection on core equipment such as excavators and skid steer loaders, alongside intelligent unmanned systems. They expressed high praise for the upgraded technical performance of the products, their stability in meeting international standards, and the level of intelligent production, affirming China Coal Group's commitment to continuous innovation. Such equipment has been sold to 176 countries and regions through the Group's ‘online + offline’ global marketing network. Monthly overseas sales of compact excavators alone reach nearly 400 units, with the North American market share steadily increasing.
During the symposium, Mr Li outlined China Coal Group's international expansion strategy, which leverages the Group's overseas subsidiaries to establish multilingual cross-border e-commerce teams and a global logistics network. This forms a comprehensive overseas service system spanning the entire chain from R&D to ‘production, sales and after-sales support’. Business partners expressed strong recognition of the Group's sustained innovation capabilities, bespoke solutions and well-established overseas service network, finalising a new batch of purchase orders on the spot.
As an innovative pilot enterprise in cross-border e-commerce designated by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Coal Group has established stable cooperative networks in key regions such as North America, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. The group has previously achieved in-depth collaborations with countries along ‘the Belt and Road Initiative‘, such as Chile, as well as with multiple nations in North America. Moving forward, the group will continue to empower product upgrades through technological innovation, deepen long-term and stable partnerships with global collaborators, and consolidate its international market presence, injecting stronger momentum from China Coal into China-Canada economic and trade exchanges and the global expansion of 'Made in China'.
