China Coal Group Signs Cooperation Agreement with Saudi Merchants

On April 14, merchants from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia visited China Coal Group for business exchanges. Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Group Informatization and General Manager of China Transportation Group, and Zhang Hang, Deputy General Manager, accompanied and received the visitors throughout the event. The two sides held in-depth discussions on cooperation in the engineering machinery sector and officially signed a cooperation agreement.
The merchant delegation successively visited the Group's intelligent manufacturing achievement exhibition hall and the digital workshop of engineering machinery, with a focus on observing flagship products including wall plastering machines, forklifts and backhoe loaders. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the Group’s R&D achievements in intelligent manufacturing, its digital production and management system, as well as the core advantages of its products. The merchants spoke highly of China Coal Group’s advanced intelligent manufacturing capabilities, sophisticated production processes and superior product quality.
During the forum and exchanges, the two sides conducted in-depth communication on the demand of the Middle East market, product adaptation and optimization, as well as long-term cooperation matters, reached extensive consensus, and officially signed a cooperation order in a friendly atmosphere. The exchange and negotiation yielded fruitful results.
This signing marks another important achievement of China Coal Group in further cultivating the Middle East market, which has further consolidated the Group’s market layout in the engineering machinery sector of the Middle East and fully demonstrated the international competitiveness and brand influence of "China Coal Intelligent Manufacturing". The Group will continue to focus on innovation in intelligent manufacturing, deepen international production capacity cooperation, serve global infrastructure construction with high-quality equipment, and push its international development to a new level.
On October 30, Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at Shandong China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation at an activity organized by the Teaching and Research Group of the Shandong Province Technical and Vocational Schools Admissions and Employment (Industry-Education Integration) Center. The event brought together 23 technical and vocational schools across the province and focused on innovative integration of artificial intelligence with technical and vocational education, sharing practical achievements from the front lines of industry and jointly exploring new approaches to cultivating versatile digital-skills professionals through school-enterprise collaboration.
Recently, the Zhongmei Zhiren AI system, independently developed by the Intelligent Research Institute of Shandong China Coal Group, has continued to evolve and improve. Drawing on core technologies including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agent workflow orchestration, multimodal vision, and audio and video generation, it is building a dedicated end-to-end AI platform for China’s industrial and mining supplies sector. The platform uses independently controllable AI technology to support the digital transformation of domestic and international trade and foster new quality productive forces.
Recently, three sets of software independently developed by Shandong China Coal Industry & Mining Supplies Group Co., Ltd. have successfully passed the review of the National Copyright Administration and obtained the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificates. The three certified achievements are all built-in agent modules of the China Coal Zhiren AI System, namely: China Coal Zhiqing Image Management Tool V1.0, China Coal Construction Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0, and China Coal Mining Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0. This marks the continuous expansion of the ecological layout of the China Coal Zhiren AI System and the further consolidation of self-developed technical barriers.
