On 9th October, China Coal Group welcomed important business representatives from Yemen, a country along the ‘Belt and Road‘，and the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges on the procurement of mining equipment and construction machinery, and signed long-term purchase agreements for a variety of mining equipment and construction machinery products.
Accompanied by Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Informatisation of China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhong Yun Intelligent Machinery (Yantai) Corp.,LTD, the representatives of Yemeni businessmen visited the modern production base and R&D centre of the Group. At the site, various types of mining equipment such as roadheaders, mining winches, scraper conveyors and hydraulic pillars, as well as construction machinery such as excavators, electric forklifts, crawler trucks, skid steer loaders and other star products were in abundance, demonstrating the strong technical strength and rich product lines of China Coal Group. These products are not only intelligent and environmentally friendly, but also incorporate cutting-edge technologies such as Internet of Things, big data analysis and artificial intelligence, which realise intelligent interconnection and remote monitoring between equipment, significantly improving production efficiency and operational safety.
During the seminar, Mr Li introduced in detail the Group's development history, technical strength, product advantages and international market expansion strategy. He stressed that China Coal Group always holds an open and cooperative attitude and is committed to exploring new technologies and markets with global partners to promote the transformation and upgrading of the machinery manufacturing industry. At the same time, he also expressed his great attention and expectation to the Yemeni market, and hoped that both sides could further strengthen the cooperation and jointly explore a broader market space.
Representatives of Yemeni businessmen spoke highly of the technical strength and product quality of China Coal Group and expressed their strong willingness to co-operate. Finally, the two sides signed a long-term purchase agreement for a variety of mining equipment and construction machinery products.

On October 30, Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at Shandong China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation at an activity organized by the Teaching and Research Group of the Shandong Province Technical and Vocational Schools Admissions and Employment (Industry-Education Integration) Center. The event brought together 23 technical and vocational schools across the province and focused on innovative integration of artificial intelligence with technical and vocational education, sharing practical achievements from the front lines of industry and jointly exploring new approaches to cultivating versatile digital-skills professionals through school-enterprise collaboration.
Recently, the Zhongmei Zhiren AI system, independently developed by the Intelligent Research Institute of Shandong China Coal Group, has continued to evolve and improve. Drawing on core technologies including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agent workflow orchestration, multimodal vision, and audio and video generation, it is building a dedicated end-to-end AI platform for China’s industrial and mining supplies sector. The platform uses independently controllable AI technology to support the digital transformation of domestic and international trade and foster new quality productive forces.
Recently, three sets of software independently developed by Shandong China Coal Industry & Mining Supplies Group Co., Ltd. have successfully passed the review of the National Copyright Administration and obtained the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificates. The three certified achievements are all built-in agent modules of the China Coal Zhiren AI System, namely: China Coal Zhiqing Image Management Tool V1.0, China Coal Construction Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0, and China Coal Mining Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0. This marks the continuous expansion of the ecological layout of the China Coal Zhiren AI System and the further consolidation of self-developed technical barriers.
