China Coal Showcases Leadership At Provincial Foreign Trade Training

Recently, authoritative provincial media outlets such as Dazhong Net and Poster News focused their coverage on the Shandong Provincial Specialized, Sophisticated, and Innovative Foreign Trade Premium Products Cluster Training—Construction Machinery Sector Event. Organized by the Shandong Provincial Department of Commerce, the training was successfully held in Jining on January 15. It aimed to empower provincial engineering machinery enterprises through policy interpretation, market trend analysis, and precise resource matching, thereby enhancing their international competitiveness and accelerating their global expansion. As a key enterprise in Shandong's engineering machinery and mining equipment sector and a representative of foreign trade premium products, China Coal Group was invited to participate. Vice General Manager Zhang Hang shared insights and experiences based on the Group's practical overseas expansion efforts.
During the interview, Mr. Zhang systematically introduced the Group's development journey and global achievements. He noted that since its establishment in 1994, China Coal Group has consistently specialized in mining equipment and engineering machinery, with a product portfolio including roadheaders, scraper conveyors, hydraulic supports, excavators, and concrete pumps. The Group has deeply integrated into the Belt and Road Initiative, extending its market network across 176 countries and regions in Southeast Asia, South America, Africa, and beyond, demonstrating strong international influence.
Amid rapid changes in the global market environment, China Coal Group has achieved steady growth in its foreign trade business through keen market insight and robust internal capabilities. Zhang Hang pointed out that despite complex and volatile international conditions, the Group's engineering machinery products, represented by excavators, maintained strong export momentum from January to December last year. This success is underpinned by the Group's ongoing investment in a professional cross-border e-commerce team of over 200 members and multilingual service capabilities covering languages such as English and Spanish.

On October 30, Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at Shandong China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation at an activity organized by the Teaching and Research Group of the Shandong Province Technical and Vocational Schools Admissions and Employment (Industry-Education Integration) Center. The event brought together 23 technical and vocational schools across the province and focused on innovative integration of artificial intelligence with technical and vocational education, sharing practical achievements from the front lines of industry and jointly exploring new approaches to cultivating versatile digital-skills professionals through school-enterprise collaboration.
Recently, the Zhongmei Zhiren AI system, independently developed by the Intelligent Research Institute of Shandong China Coal Group, has continued to evolve and improve. Drawing on core technologies including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agent workflow orchestration, multimodal vision, and audio and video generation, it is building a dedicated end-to-end AI platform for China’s industrial and mining supplies sector. The platform uses independently controllable AI technology to support the digital transformation of domestic and international trade and foster new quality productive forces.
Recently, three sets of software independently developed by Shandong China Coal Industry & Mining Supplies Group Co., Ltd. have successfully passed the review of the National Copyright Administration and obtained the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificates. The three certified achievements are all built-in agent modules of the China Coal Zhiren AI System, namely: China Coal Zhiqing Image Management Tool V1.0, China Coal Construction Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0, and China Coal Mining Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0. This marks the continuous expansion of the ecological layout of the China Coal Zhiren AI System and the further consolidation of self-developed technical barriers.
