The main failure forms are:
① Seal failure. When the muddy water with acid and alkali components enters the bearing raceway through the clearance of the sealing element, the steel ball is blocked by mud and dust, and becomes stuck and invalid.
② Bearing failure. As the bearing is stuck and does not rotate, the relative rotation between the inner or outer ring of the bearing and the axle or wheel hub will lead to severe wear of the axle and stress concentration. Under the effect of external impact load, the axle will be broken. The severe wear of the inner circle of the wheel hub will lead to the increase of the clearance between the wheel hub and the outer ring of the bearing, which will cause excessive shaking of the wheel and failure.
