2. Install the centering idler group.
There are many types of centering idler groups, such as middle rotating shaft type, four-bar type, vertical roller type, etc. Its principle is to use blocking or the idler rotates in the horizontal direction to block or generate lateral thrust to make the belt automatically centripetal to adjust the belt deviation.
3. Adjust the position of the drive drum and the turning drum.
The adjustment of driving drum and turning drum is an important part of belt deviation adjustment. Since a belt conveyor has at least 2~5 pulleys, the installation position of all pulleys must be perpendicular to the centerline in the length direction of the belt conveyor. If the deflection is too large, deviation will occur.
4. Adjustment of tensioning position.
In addition to being perpendicular to the belt length, the two reversing rollers at the upper part of the counterweight tensioning position should also be perpendicular to the gravity vertical line, that is, ensure that the axis centerline is horizontal. When screw tensioning or hydraulic cylinder tensioning is used, the two bearing seats of the tensioning cylinder shall be translated simultaneously to ensure that the cylinder axis is vertical to the longitudinal direction of the belt.
