Cleaning of belt conveyor is very important in coal transportation, which is mainly determined by the characteristics of coal materials. The underground coal powder has high proportion, high moisture content, high humidity and viscosity. During the operation of the belt conveyor, coal dust will be stuck on the belt surface. If the cleaning is not complete, the operation of the equipment will be affected. During the continuous transportation of underground coal, if the cohesive and compacted coal dust is drawn into the belt pulley and wrapped on the pulley and the bearing idler group, forming a cone or uneven thickness of hard blocks, resulting in changes in the diameter and shape of the pulley, it will cause belt deviation. What is more serious is that the accumulation of hard blocks to a certain extent will also cause major accidents such as belt breakage. The application of automatic belt cleaner can solve the belt deviation caused by this kind of problem and prevent serious accidents.

The working principle of the fully automatic belt cleaner of the tail drum is to use the constant pressure of the cylinder to keep the working force of the cleaning relatively constant and effectively remove the coal deposits on the drum. When the blade is worn during operation and the distance between the blade and the roller becomes larger, the hydraulic cylinder will push the blade forward automatically for clearance compensation. In actual operation, it is only necessary to set the working pressure of the hydraulic cylinder at the initial stage, and then it is unnecessary to adjust and maintain the wiper blade. The scraping blade angle can make the coal scraps swept off the drum fall automatically, so as to achieve the purpose of cleaning.
