On January 14, a procurement delegation from a well-known South Korean enterprise visited China Coal Group for on-site inspections and economic and trade cooperation exchanges. The delegation toured the Group’s intelligent manufacturing achievements exhibition hall and the digital workshop for engineering machinery, with a focus on inspecting multiple engineering machinery products such as glass installation machines and excavators. They expressed high recognition for the achievements made by China Coal Group in intelligent manufacturing and digital transformation and upgrading.
Following the visit, both parties held a discussion session. Zhang Hang, Deputy General Manager of China Coal Group, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and introduced the Group’s strategic plans in high-end equipment manufacturing, technological innovation, and global market development. Zhang Wen, General Manager of the Cross-border E-commerce Company, provided a systematic overview of product exports, cross-border services, and potential cooperation models. The Korean representatives spoke positively of the performance, quality, and intelligent features of China Coal's products and expressed their intention to deepen long-term cooperation.
Amidst the witness of all attendees, both parties signed a long-term procurement agreement, marking the entry of cooperation between China Coal Group and South Korean enterprises in the field of engineering machinery into a new phase characterized by regularity and institutionalization. This collaboration not only represents a significant step for China Coal Group in expanding its presence in the East Asian market but also serves as a concrete practice in actively responding to ‘the Belt and Road’ Initiative and promoting the high-quality global expansion of Chinese manufacturing.

Recently, the Jining High-tech Zone General Trade Union and the Human Resources Department of Jining High-tech Zone jointly announced the 2024 'High-tech Craftsman' list. Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was awarded the title of 'High-tech Craftsman' for his outstanding contributions and innovative spirit.
On September 30th, China Coal Group held a grand cultural performance to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with the theme of 'Forging Ahead to Celebrate the Birthday of the People's Republic of China' in the conference center.
