Jining University Team Lauds China Coal Group’s AI Unmanned Systems

On February 2nd, a delegation of doctoral experts, including Su Ning, Party Secretary of the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Jining University, Du Yongsheng, Vice Dean, along with Sun Hongwei, Sun Fayou, and Zhao Qingying, paid a special visit to China Coal Group to deepen school-enterprise cooperation in the AI field. They were warmly received by Qu Qing, Chairman of China Coal Group; Han Yong, General Manager; Li Zhenbo, Information General Manager and General Manager of China Yun Group; and Guan Chenghui, Party Secretary of the Group.
Accompanied by the group’s leadership, the visiting expert team toured departments including the Corporate Culture Exhibition Hall, the AI Intelligence Center, and the cross-border e-commerce and e-commerce companies. At the AI Intelligence Center, the doctoral team provided high-level, comprehensive guidance on the group’s independently developed “AI Unmanned Promotion, AI Unmanned Optimization, AI Unmanned Outbound Calls, AI Unmanned Matrix Publishing, AI Unmanned Recruitment, AI Unmanned Finance” and other AI unmanned systems across four scenarios and eight systems. Their guidance covered the underlying logic of algorithm architecture, optimization of data processing efficiency, and improvements in the fluency of multimodal interaction. The doctoral team highly praised the systems’ technological innovation, architectural advancement, performance stability, and security. The team unanimously agreed that these AI intelligent unmanned systems have reached an industry-leading level in terms of technology integration and application innovation. Additionally, they put forward several reasonable suggestions for system optimization, injecting strong technical support for the group’s subsequent technological iterations, breakthroughs, and product upgrades and innovations.
During the symposium, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions around the theme of 'AI-Driven Innovation for Industry-Education Win-Win.' Chairman Qu, on behalf of the Group, expressed gratitude to Jining University for its long-standing support. He stated that as a vital hub for talent and scientific research, the university is a key strategic partner of the Group. He expressed hope that through this exchange, new breakthroughs would be achieved in AI technology innovation, scientific research and development, and talent cultivation. He also extended his sincere wishes for a happy Chinese New Year to the university leaders and attending doctors.
Secretary Su provided an overview of the university’s development, covering the scale of its student body, program offerings, and its highly qualified faculty. He reviewed the solid foundation of cooperation established through the initial 'Double-Qualified' teacher training base built by both parties, and spoke highly of China Coal Group’s remarkable achievements in the application of AI technology. Moving forward, both sides will deepen collaboration in areas such as talent cultivation, student internships and employment, and technological research and development, aiming to share resources and leverage complementary strengths. Secretary Su specifically proposed establishing a doctoral workstation at China Coal Group. By stationing a doctoral team at the company, they aim to advance deep-seated strategic cooperation in industry-academia-research integration, providing comprehensive technical support for China Coal Group in the field of AI technology.
The discussion session focused on technological breakthroughs and industrial implementation. Chairman Qu shared strategic insights on 'How Ai Can Precisely Match Market Demands To Achieve Intelligent Product Promotion.' Secretary Guan systematically elaborated on the application scenarios of China Coal’s AI, encompassing 'Four Scenarios and Eight Systems.' Shen Jianzhuang, Dean of the Group’s Intelligent Research Institute; Wu Kailian, Technical Director; and Li Xiao, Product Manager, respectively posed key technical challenges encountered during research and development. The doctoral team provided professional answers from theoretical and algorithmic perspectives, thereby establishing technical safeguards for subsequent technological iterations and upgrades.
This negotiation marked a new phase in the collaboration between the two parties, strategically upgraded with artificial intelligence as its core engine. Multiple consensuses were reached on establishing a regular communication mechanism, jointly building an AI joint R&D and practice base, and collaboratively cultivating high-quality talent. Both parties clearly defined the principle of 'Resource Sharing, Complementary Advantages, And Collaborative Innovation' to jointly advance the implementation of the cooperation framework. Concurrently, they planned the construction of high-end innovation platforms such as the doctoral workstation, committing to create a benchmark model of university-enterprise collaboration empowering industrial intelligent transformation, thereby injecting robust impetus into regional and even national industrial digital upgrading and high-quality economic development.
Recently, the Jining High-tech Zone General Trade Union and the Human Resources Department of Jining High-tech Zone jointly announced the 2024 'High-tech Craftsman' list. Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was awarded the title of 'High-tech Craftsman' for his outstanding contributions and innovative spirit.
On September 30th, China Coal Group held a grand cultural performance to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with the theme of 'Forging Ahead to Celebrate the Birthday of the People's Republic of China' in the conference center. The chairman of China Coal Group, Mr. Qiu Qing, the general manager of China Coal Group, Mr. Han Yong, and all the members of the leadership team of China Coal Group attended the event and witnessed the grand celebration together with more than 1,000 employees on the spot. The cultural performance was conducted in the way of 'on-site + webcast', aiming to show the spirit of the cadres and workers of China Coal Group and express the love and blessing to the great motherland through colorful cultural programs.
On September 29th, in this season of autumn and fruitfulness, China Coal Group, full of joy and pride, participated in the ‘Harvest Celebration and National Day’, which was jointly organized by Jining Hi-Tech District Federation of Trade Unions and Jiezhuang Street to welcome the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China and the Farmer's Harvest Festival.
