On July 16, the 16th China Xinjiang International Mining and Equipment Expo grandly opened at Xinjiang International Convention and Exhibition Center. As a national-level exchange platform for the mining industry covering Northwest China and connecting Central Asia, the expo gathered mining enterprises, purchasers and industry experts from across China and Central Asian countries, showcasing a wide range of intelligent mining equipment amid active on-site negotiations. Led by Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Group Information Technology and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, Xu Zhihan, Deputy General Manager of the Group and Director of the Tendering & Procurement Center, Zhang Xing, General Manager of Cross-border E-commerce Company and Deputy General Manager of Zhongyun Group, Hou Qiang, General Manager of the Sixth E-commerce Department, and Cao Sen, General Manager of the Second Construction Machinery Team, the Group brought its full lineup of intelligent mining equipment to the event with an exclusive booth P71 in Hall 1, drawing constant crowds of inquiring merchants.
On the first day of the expo, the booth of Shandong China Coal Group attracted numerous visitors. Procurement teams from local Xinjiang mines, mining zones in Northwest China and multiple Central Asian countries stopped by the stand. Sales staff and technical engineers provided one-on-one reception throughout the day, elaborating on equipment performance, complete set solutions and cross-border cooperation models in detail. Many clients discussed their procurement demands for underground support and intelligent mining equipment on site, while scheduling field inspections and customized equipment plans, resulting in growing preliminary order intentions. Leveraging its local layout advantage, the professional team of Xinjiang Zhongyun Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. under the Group was stationed at the booth to deliver one-stop consulting services including localized after-sales support and supply for clients from Northwest China and overseas.
All exhibits featured high intelligence and strong adaptability, fully catering to the complex mining operation environments in Xinjiang and Central Asia. Core products including intelligent mini excavators, hydraulic single props, mining rail transport vehicles and underground explosion-proof airtight doors were neatly displayed at the booth. Integrated with automatic control and energy-efficient designs, the equipment fits multiple scenarios covering underground safety operation and open-pit mining, with intelligent upgrades standing out as the highlight for visiting merchants. Staff demonstrated the operational advantages of the equipment live and compared its improvements in cost reduction, efficiency growth and safety protection against traditional machinery, winning high recognition from industrial clients.

On October 30, Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at Shandong China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was invited to deliver a keynote presentation at an activity organized by the Teaching and Research Group of the Shandong Province Technical and Vocational Schools Admissions and Employment (Industry-Education Integration) Center. The event brought together 23 technical and vocational schools across the province and focused on innovative integration of artificial intelligence with technical and vocational education, sharing practical achievements from the front lines of industry and jointly exploring new approaches to cultivating versatile digital-skills professionals through school-enterprise collaboration.
Recently, the Zhongmei Zhiren AI system, independently developed by the Intelligent Research Institute of Shandong China Coal Group, has continued to evolve and improve. Drawing on core technologies including large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), AI agent workflow orchestration, multimodal vision, and audio and video generation, it is building a dedicated end-to-end AI platform for China’s industrial and mining supplies sector. The platform uses independently controllable AI technology to support the digital transformation of domestic and international trade and foster new quality productive forces.
Recently, three sets of software independently developed by Shandong China Coal Industry & Mining Supplies Group Co., Ltd. have successfully passed the review of the National Copyright Administration and obtained the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificates. The three certified achievements are all built-in agent modules of the China Coal Zhiren AI System, namely: China Coal Zhiqing Image Management Tool V1.0, China Coal Construction Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0, and China Coal Mining Machinery Foreign Trade Independent Website System V1.0. This marks the continuous expansion of the ecological layout of the China Coal Zhiren AI System and the further consolidation of self-developed technical barriers.
