1. Fatigue damage.

2. Stress concentration
Welding stress concentration occurs at the welding position between the limit plate and the axle wheel.
In view of the above reasons for axle breakage. The following improvement methods can be adopted:
A steel semicircle with the same diameter as the shaft is welded on the outer surface of the axle in the middle of the limit plate, with a thickness of 4-6 mm. The steel semicircle is staggered with the shaft, so that the welding stress is evenly distributed in the direction of the shaft diameter. The two limit plates are welded on both ends of the steel semicircle, and two triangular steel plates are added inside the limit plate to fix it, even if the limit plate plays its due role, It also avoids the excessive concentrated radial welding stress caused by direct welding on the same section of the shaft wheel.
2. The limit plate is directly welded to the shaft with triangular reinforcement.
The advantage of this method is that the process is simple, but the disadvantage is that the triangular rib is less welded, the strength is not enough, and the welding is more, and the radial welding stress concentration is formed.
