What causes the damage of the tail wheel bearing of the XGZ scraper conveyor?

As one of the important parts of scraper conveyor, tail wheel group is generally of drum structure. During operation, the tail shaft is supported on the tail shaft seat and fixed, and the head sprocket rotates through the drum of scraper belt and tail wheel group. However, in actual production, it is found that the tail wheel set of this structure is easy to be damaged and has a short service life. Accidents such as broken chain due to the damage of tail wheel bearings often occur, affecting production. According to the disassembly and inspection of the repaired tail wheel set, most of the bearings have been damaged, and the tailing side plate has been worn out. The main reasons are as follows:


1. The structure is unreasonable, resulting in difficulties in routine inspection, maintenance and replacement. The bearing of the tail wheel set is designed in the scraper box and installed under the tail wheel, which is simply the "built-in" design of the bearing, making the commonly used method of checking the bearing by sensing the bearing seat inapplicable; In addition, if the bearing is damaged, the process of replacing the tail wheel set with this structure is complicated, time-consuming and laborious.


2. It is inconvenient to inject oil for maintenance, which leads to poor lubrication condition of the bearing and damage. The oil injection ways are as follows: ① Use an oil gun to inject oil through the oil injection hole of the shaft head. However, due to the poor site environment, the oil injection hole is not easy to keep clean, and the grease in the bearing is easy to block the oil path after aging, resulting in poor oil delivery effect of this method. ② After the chain is broken, remove the tail wheel set, and then remove the end cover for oil replenishment; This method is extremely inconvenient to operate and is basically not used.


3. The bearing bearing capacity of tail wheel is low, which can not meet the needs of long-term high load operation in coal mine production.
