Recently, the Department of Science and Technology of Shandong Province issued the Public Notice on the List of Enterprises Proposed to Be Included in the First Batch of Provincial Sci-tech SMEs of Shandong Province in 2026. Four enterprises under Shandong China Coal Group, namely Shandong Shenhua Information Technology Co., Ltd., Zhongyun Intelligent Machinery Group Co., Ltd., Shandong Carter Intelligent Robot Co., Ltd. and Shandong China Coal Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., have successfully been included in the list thanks to their outstanding R&D capacity, sound innovation systems and high-quality scientific and technological achievements.
Sci-tech SMEs serve as an important provincial benchmark to measure enterprises’ core strength in scientific and technological innovation. The four shortlisted enterprises each boast distinctive technical expertise, forming a collaborative innovation matrix within the Group. Over the years, the four companies have consistently increased investment in research and development and introduced high-end technical talents. They have obtained numerous invention patents, utility model patents and software copyrights in total, with multiple independently developed products filling technical gaps in segmented industrial sectors. The simultaneous passing of multiple rounds of provincial reviews and collective selection into the first batch fully demonstrates Shandong China Coal Group’s long-term innovation accumulation in intelligent manufacturing, intelligent mining equipment, industrial robots and digital information technology.
As a local high-end equipment manufacturer based in Jining, China Coal Group has always taken scientific and technological innovation as its core development strategy. It has built an integrated group-wide R&D platform for scientific and technological innovation, coordinated R&D resources of all its subsidiaries, and kept tackling key technologies in sectors including "robot +" intelligent mining equipment, digital industrial and mining systems, and emergency intelligent equipment. Recently, the Jining High-tech Zone General Trade Union and the Human Resources Department of Jining High-tech Zone jointly announced the 2024 'High-tech Craftsman' list. Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was awarded the title of 'High-tech Craftsman' for his outstanding contributions and innovative spirit.
On September 30th, China Coal Group held a grand cultural performance to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with the theme of 'Forging Ahead to Celebrate the Birthday of the People's Republic of China' in the conference center. The chairman of China Coal Group, Mr. Qiu Qing, the general manager of China Coal Group, Mr. Han Yong, and all the members of the leadership team of China Coal Group attended the event and witnessed the grand celebration together with more than 1,000 employees on the spot.
