On May 15, Han Chengyu, Director of Weihai Electronic Information Technology Comprehensive Research Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, led a delegation to visit China Coal Group for inspection and guidance. Han Yong, General Manager, Guan Chenghui, Party Secretary, Lu Shuli, Deputy Party Secretary and Wang Man, Assistant General Manager of China Coal Group accompanied the reception.
General Manager Han Yong extended a warm welcome to the visiting leaders. He accompanied them to visit the corporate culture exhibition hall, AI Intelligence Center, cross-border e-commerce company, e-commerce company, operation company, technology company, intelligent equipment manufacturing workshop and digital product exhibition hall. The visiting leaders had a comprehensive understanding of the Group’s industrial layout in intelligent equipment manufacturing, digital technology R&D, cross-border e-commerce and other fields. At the AI Intelligence Center, they listened carefully to the special report delivered by Party Secretary Guan Chenghui on the implementation and application of artificial intelligence technology, and fully affirmed the Group’s innovative practices of driving industrial upgrading with AI.
Director Han Chengyu spoke highly of the achievements made by China Coal Group in diversified development. He pointed out that the Group boasts a solid industrial foundation and profound technical accumulation. He hoped the Group would give full play to its advantages, further integrate digital technology with the real economy, and play a greater leading role in the digital and intelligent transformation of regional industries.

Recently, the Jining High-tech Zone General Trade Union and the Human Resources Department of Jining High-tech Zone jointly announced the 2024 'High-tech Craftsman' list. Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Information Technology at China Coal Group and General Manager of Zhongyun Group, was awarded the title of 'High-tech Craftsman' for his outstanding contributions and innovative spirit.
On September 30th, China Coal Group held a grand cultural performance to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China with the theme of 'Forging Ahead to Celebrate the Birthday of the People's Republic of China' in the conference center. The chairman of China Coal Group, Mr. Qiu Qing, the general manager of China Coal Group, Mr. Han Yong, and all the members of the leadership team of China Coal Group attended the event and witnessed the grand celebration together with more than 1,000 employees on the spot. On September 29th, in this season of autumn and fruitfulness, China Coal Group, full of joy and pride, participated in the ‘Harvest Celebration and National Day’, which was jointly organized by Jining Hi-Tech District Federation of Trade Unions and Jiezhuang Street to welcome the 75th anniversary of the founding of New China and the Farmer's Harvest Festival.
