Recently, the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province issued the Notice on Announcing the Operation Evaluation Results of Shandong "One Enterprise, One Technology" R&D Centers for 2026 (Lu Gong Xin Ji〔2026〕No.180). China Coal Group has successfully passed the provincial operation evaluation. This indicates that the Group maintains provincial benchmark standards in core technology research, R&D platform development and commercialization of innovation achievements.
As a key enterprise in the field of intelligent mining equipment, China Coal Group has long focused on core technologies for underground coal mine support equipment. The Group keeps increasing investment in research and development, gathering professional technical innovators and building complete R&D and test platforms. It concentrates on technical fields including intelligent mining equipment, mine Internet of Things and AI agent systems. The Group promotes in-depth industry-university-research collaborative innovation, tackles technical bottlenecks in the sector, obtains multiple independent intellectual property rights, and translates innovative technologies into serialized mining equipment products to support the intelligent and safe transformation of the mining industry.
Passing this provincial evaluation is full recognition from the provincial industry and information authority for the Group’s continuous innovation efforts. On October 24, a delegation led by Jamanxin Danmier, Head of Integrated Transportation and Logistics of Kazakhstan Chrome Group; Baisembayeva Airigemu, Transportation Business Manager; Kaiemuerding Daniyar, Transportation Manager of Kazakhstan Railway Transportation Company; and Zhanadilov Marat, visited Shandong Zhongmei Group for a site inspection and business discussions. Accompanied by Jiang Ziming, General Manager of the Xinjiang Branch of Shandong Shengyuan Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd., and Lu Di, Overseas Market Manager of Shandong Shengyuan Industrial Equipment Co., Ltd., the delegation focused on bulk mining materials, construction machinery procurement, and supporting cross-border logistics, and explored long-term, in-depth cooperation. Qu Qing, Chairman of the Group, led the team in warmly receiving the delegation.
Strong demand in the overseas engineering equipment market has attracted customers from many countries. On October 22, British and Bolivian customers visited Shandong Zhongmei Group in succession for inspections and on-site negotiations, finalizing procurement orders for construction machinery and mining drilling equipment, respectively. The Group’s cross-border business has entered a new wave of contract signings.Li Zhenbo, General Manager of Group Informatization and General Manager of Zhongyun Group; Hou Qiang, a member of the Group’s leadership team and General Manager of the Group’s E-commerce Headquarters; and Zhang Xing, General Manager of the Cross-Border E-commerce Company and Deputy General Manager of Zhongyun Group, warmly received the visitors.
On October 21, a delegation of Russian customers visited Shandong China Coal Group for a tour and inspection. The two sides held in-depth discussions on construction machinery specifications, customized solutions, delivery schedules, and overseas after-sales support. They signed a construction machinery purchase order on site, further strengthening China-Russia trade cooperation and jointly expanding into construction markets in Russian-speaking regions.
